This was my second pair of Barracudas the first still going strong several years later. Having tried the "premium" offerings from a large national retailer and being bitterly disappointed at how bad they were I've returned to the Barracudas.They are extremely easy to fit, I can put all four of mine on in about 10 minutes and load the bikes on by myself even faster.My one criticism, hence only 4 stars, is that if you have mountain bikes with fat tyres (greater than 2.35in) they can be a struggle to get into the holder. I have learnt a technique to roll them in and can still do it by myself but I think Mont Blanc should address this.

Great piece of kit.. if you car or bike is worth anything to you then buy this . Well made and easy to installCaution .... 2.10 tyres are the max it will take. Sons 2.35 no chance

Agree with previous reviewer that the plastic locks are a bit poor. I have heard they can be replaced with metal ones but have yet to find a supplier.Regarding the previous reviewer's comment that the carriers can't be locked to the roof bars, this is incorrect. Granted, it's not particularly clear in the instructions. Allow me to cut & paste JP UK's comments from their review of the single carrier:"Once the carrier is fitted to the roof bars and before you secure your bike to it simply push the locking arm all the way to the front of the carrier. Then make sure the levers either side of where the front wheel sits are fully pushed home. When you return the locking arm to the the rear it 'LOCKS' the lever in place preventing them from being undone. Simply put by pushing the arm all the way forwards then returning it you can lock the carrier to the roof bars whether you have a bike fitted or not, so you can leave your carrier fitted to the bars without fear of theft."Hope this helps
