Have had this light for 4 months and have put it through its paces.I now commute to work through some completely unlit and wooded areas. This light throws its beam further than you need at a decent speed, it diverts enough light around you to see hard left and right. The beam is very bright on full power. I like the way you can easily move the light around on the handle bar, either to keep the light out of on comers eyes or if the terrain changes and you need to really focus on the ground immediately in front.The common complaint for this model is the battery life, I agree this is something to be improved however it really isn't a problem. On full power you get over 2hrs which for me would be nearly two days worth of use but... The controls are so easy to change the power when in a street lit area. On a mid power setting there is still plenty of light to see everything you need, I only use full power on the really rough parts of my journey. The battery pack is solid, a bit bulky and in a slightly bizarre move has screws that potentially scratch your frame on the straps, nothing that a bit of tape can't solve.Buy it! You won't regret it!

better by far than all my mates magicshine lights and other makes of cree leds and jap inports buy a country mile. buy in confidence. plug a bit stiff but think this will free off in time.

Fantastic light. Easy to install and control, 4 settings of lumen intensity. Brightest light lasts 2 to 2-1/2 hours on top setting or bottom setting which is like your common standard bike lights lasts days... And then you have the lumen settings in between.Clever feature is the push button to turn on the light which also allows you to increase or decrease lumens changes colour as the battery runs down. Full charge green, then blue, then red then flashin red. Flashing red tells you you have around 30 mins left of battery life on full lumen setting.The light itself lights up the dark almost like the day. I do night riding on downhole slopes and in forests and it's perfect with great alround visibility and a long light trajectory. This small tiny light is genuinely better than your cars full beam setting on your headlights.Hope this helps
