I am a biker with experience spanning over three decades, who has owned a wide range of machines from road going adventure/enduro's, sports tourers, litre sports bikes and cruisers.I have put my faith in Oxford luggage on countless occasions on many tours, and I have never, not once been disappointed. I have strapped them or attached them onto (amongst others) a Bandit 1200/600, Triumph Daytona, Triumph Tiger, Yamaha Diversion 600 and a YZF600R, and an ER5.Quality 4.5/5 - Overall a superbly designed and engineered product. A strong standard of manufacture which lasts and compared to some soft luggage you can buy, does not detract from the looks of the bike too much. I also found that aerodynamically none of the bikes I have owned seemed affected by the fitment of this tail pack. It was one of the first items I ever bought after passing my test all those years ago. The zips looked great on day one and still do, no stitching or edging has ever failed either. Half a mark lost though as I experienced a couple of bungee chord failures with the ones supplied, and unless you secure it, the rain cover has a habit of working itself loose if you are not careful.Fitment 5/5 - So easy and simple to mount to your bike, even when full up. Simply plonk it on the back of your seat or on your rear rack and used the built in bungee chords on the bottom to secure it initially, then use the supplied extra ones and the loops on the side of the tail pack to secure it 100%. As this is soft luggage and not a permanent fixture, you might have to jiggle it about in order for it to sit right, but when you have done it a couple of times, it becomes second nature how best to fit it to your own bike.Operation 5/5 - Once fitted the tail pack always stayed put, and didn't wobble about or move on the bike. The Zips are good quality and have never got stuck or broken. They were also good enough to keep contents dry during a light shower and pretty heavy rain. Edges and seams continue to stay intact and durable and strong water resistance, and after many years use, no sign of any fabric fraying or splitting. I have never had to go back to a dealer with a warranty issue. Perhaps Oxford made them too well because I have no intention of replacing it any time soon!Summary 5/5 - After using this Oxford Lifetime product across several bikes from different manufacturer for over a decade, I am never disappointed. Used in all weathers I never experienced any problems or let downs and it proved durable. Oxford have a good reputation within the soft luggage market, and based upon my own ownership experiences, it is fully deserved, you can buy Oxford soft luggage products with 100% confidence.
